Denise
Duhamel is the author of numerous books of poetry, including
Queen for a Day: Selected and New Poems (University
of Pittsburgh Press, 2001) and The Star-Spangled
Banner, winner of the Crab Orchard Poetry Prize
(1999). A winner of the New York Foundation for the
Arts Fellowship and the Poets and Writers' Writers Exchange
Award, she has been anthologized widely, including in
several volumes of the Best American Poetry Award
